Terms of use
These terms govern your use of this website (usablesoftware.com) and, where you have an account, the TCS application. By using either, you agree to them. If you use TCS on behalf of an organization, you agree on that organization's behalf.
Who we are
TCS (Team Coordination System) and this website are operated by Usable Software LLC, based in Massachusetts, USA. You can reach us at hello@usablesoftware.com.
The website
usablesoftware.com is provided for information about TCS. You may read and share it freely. You may not use it to break the law, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, or misrepresent your affiliation with us.
The TCS application
Access to TCS requires an account, which is normally provisioned by the organization you belong to. That organization controls its account and the data within it, sets the roles and permissions of its users, and is responsible for how its members use the service.
Acceptable use
- Keep your credentials secure and do not share your account.
- Do not upload unlawful content, malware, or data you have no right to store.
- Do not attempt to access another organization's data, probe or bypass security controls, or interfere with the service's operation.
- Do not use the service to send unlawful, unsolicited, or harassing messages.
SMS notifications
TCS can send operational SMS alerts to users on an on-call rotation who provide a mobile number. These are transactional messages triggered by system events, not marketing. By adding your number and joining a rotation you consent to receive them; reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. How mobile numbers are handled is described in our privacy notice.
Data
Data entered into TCS belongs to the organization that entered it. How we handle personal data - including subject-access and erasure requests - is set out in our privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may update, suspend, or discontinue features. We may change these terms; if a change is material we will update the date above and, where it affects existing accounts, notify organization administrators by email. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
Warranties and liability
The website and, except as otherwise agreed in a written contract, the TCS service are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To that same extent, Usable Software LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Where an organization has a separate written agreement with us for TCS, that agreement governs and prevails over these terms for that service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
